Soma boats offer you the opportunity of a lifetime to view the scenic beauty
of Kerala by traversing the backwaters on the houseboat, popularly known as
riceboat.

The cruise at a leisurely relaxing pace takes you through the quaint
backwater village on the banks of numerous canals and rivers. There are
halts in-between to stretch your legs on the shore, take in a quick bottle
of fresh sweet toddy from a local pub, or just climb up a coconut tree.
The boats have two cabins, with double beds, private bath, wood paneled
interior, sundeck and a sit out. A crew of experienced hands will take care
of you in every way and ensure that traditional Kerala food is served to
you. The direction and distance of travel is entirely at your discretion.
The boats have a minimum period of hire as 24 hours and are based at
Alleppey.
